Of all the fabulous Christmas ornaments in the Treasure Tree range, luxury Fiesta baubles probably generate the most comments and questions. Customers regularly ask, “How have you managed to put something inside the glass ball?” Actually our expert, skilled Treasure Tree craftsmen make the Fiesta bauble by blowing a clear ball and then, whilst the glass is still hot and has not yet hardened, they use a conical “needle” to push and collapse the ball inwards. Only when the glass has cooled and set rigid, do they insert their paint brushes into the indentations and paint the vibrant “trumpets” in gold, silver, red, blue, white or multi-colour.
The Treasure Tree team has named this stunning, unusual Christmas bauble design “Fiesta” because it reminds us of colourful, exploding fireworks going off in the night sky at carnivals or fiestas.
All Fiesta Christmas balls are medium size, 8cm in diameter. They are available in gold, silver, white crimson- red or sapphire blue. This year we have launched a Fiesta bauble with a striking pink-orange-red colour combination.
