The Treasure Tree team like to call these charming, little decorations, “Figs”. Some of our customers prefer to call them, “Pears.” Whatever your own opinion, we know that so many people love these small, enchanting tree ornaments for their adorable, delicious, curvy shape.
Each little glass Fig has been hand-blown and then hand-painted with gold or silver stripes or coloured in solid, jewel tones: amber-gold, fire-red, jade green, dark blue, pearlescent or soft pink. These small ornaments will fit anywhere on the tree, glinting in the smallest gaps between the branches. They also shine out beautifully when used to decorate dark fir- green garlands and indoor festive wreaths.
Like all Treasure Tree Christmas decorations, our glass Figs have been made using a high quality borosilicate glass that is wonderfully strong but reasonably light. This allows us to create robust, long-lasting decorations that will hang beautifully on your Christmas tree.
To care for your glass figs, simply wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. To store them until next Christmas, re-wrap in soft tissue paper or bubble-wrap. Always keep Christmas decorations in a dry place.
